Even a cursory glance at the resume of Paul D. Miller, better known in music spheres as DJ SPOOKY reveals he's much more than your usual selector. No less than a turntablist, multimedia artist, a producer, composer, a philosopher, editor and an author that shows up on all corners of the creative map. From composing music for Yoko Ono to releases on the legendary Jamaican label Trojan Records. His work as an artist has appeared everywhere from NYC's Whitney Biennial to Cologne's Ludwig Museum and his live performances have seen him tour the globe, playing at festivals, performing alongside orchestras to DJ sets from Mexico to Japan. He's literally written the book on electronic music and digital media, the best seller 'Sound Unbound' and his DJ Mixed iPad App has been downloaded over 12 million times. Alongside numerous accomplishments, DJ SPOOKY's musical endeavours have been underpinned by a life-long love of reggae, dub and jazz. Appearing in Melbourne as a keynote speaker at the 2014 Annual Conference of the Australasian Computer Music Association, DJ SPOOKY will be showcasing his indomitable talents for a special show at SIGNAL.

With one Australia's most interesting young producers SILENTJAY on support alongside Stable and Operatives veterans MATT RADOVICH and JPS going back to back, the first SIGNAL unites generations of musical prodigies.
